Van Cranes for Lifting Heavy Loads on the Go27th April 2016

Van cranes can be directly fitted into a vehicle to help with lifting heavy loads when on the go. This is very useful when working between different sites or when carrying out deliveries and installations for customers. Depending on the model, our van cranes can be used to lift loads weighing up to 500kg, and have an electronically-controlled arm that will reach up to 1,150mm out of the vehicle. These cranes can also be suitable for use with lorries.

The Mad Easyload van cranes that we supply come in two different capacities, 250kg and 500kg. The cranes feature a lightweight design that helps to make them suitable for any purpose – the smaller capacity crane model weighs 100kg and the mounting frame weighs 60kg, whilst the larger capacity model weights 125kg and has a 75kg mounting frame. Both make use of an electric winch that is operated via a push button pendant, and the lifting speed is 6m/ min. Both crane models have an overall extended length of 3,675mm and a retracted length of 2,275mm.

Van cranes can represent excellent value for your business. They are ideal for people who need portable lifting solutions, and they might even be able to cut your bills by making jobs more streamlined. Jobs that required multiple members of staff might now only need one, and you won’t need to buy a new vehicle either – you will be able to retrofit the crane you choose into your existing van or lorry.
