WHAT ARE CM LODESTAR ELECTRIC CHAIN HOISTS?

CM Lodestar Electric Chain Hoists, also known colloquially as Yale Lodestar Electric Chain Hoists, are an electric chain hoist produced by Colombus McKinnon Corporation. Unlike the other Electric Chain hoists produced by subsidiaries of Colombus McKinnon, the CM Lodestar lacks the iconic yellow colour that is more typical of their Yale electric chain hoists or the lime green colour that is typical of Stahl’s electric chain hoistm.

The CM Lodestar electric chain hoists are available in one of three different operating voltages, 110V, 230V, and 400V. Similarly, the different models have a range of maximum operating capacities, with the most lightweight model only accommodating 250kgm and the most robust accommodating 3000kg. Furthermore, the CM Lodestar Electric Chain Hoists can be fitted with one of three attachments, either a hook, push trolley or electric travel trolley.

WHERE WOULD YOU SEE THE CM LODESTAR ELECTRIC CHAIN HOIST?

The CM Lodestar electric chain hoists are popular in many different industries, including construction and manufacturing, but are especially popular within the entertainment industry. This is due to their quiet operation compared to most other chain hoists and the relatively low barrier to entry from a technical expertise perspective.
